Diane Mary Flammand, a resident of Wikwemikong died peacefully at Health Sciences North, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the age of 59\. Loving mother of Sarah (Ken), John, Marshall, Kathleen and step-children Annette (Scott) and Doris Peltier, special grandmother of Jorja, Indiana, Houston, Memphis, Joel, Hope, Emma, Alexis, Charleen, Cameron, Natasha and Echo. Dear sister of David (Kim), Wayne, Julie (Shawn), Rosemary, Bruce, Marco and Betty. Godmother of David Andrew Oshkabewisens. Predeceased by parents Stella (Baibomcowai) and Leonard Flamand, sister Clara and step-son Roger Peltier. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Diane was a caregiver. She loved working at Daystar Community Center, seeing all her friends daily. She will be missed by Zoey and Samantha Manitowabi. Diane enjoyed her visits from all her grandchildren, and doing crafts with them. She was known as “Mama Diane” and was loved by everyone. Family and friends will gather at St. Ignatius Church, from 10 am on Thursday, July 12, 2018\. Funeral Mass 11 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong. Burial at Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery.
