We felt with this donation we would like to start a fundraising campaign to raise enough put the three up there,” said Ms. Bowerman. “The committee agreed at a meeting today (Thursday of last week) to hold a fundraising campaign.” Ms. Bowerman explained, “We are looking at purchasing three 350-foot fiberglass flagpoles at a price tag of $2,682.59 each, not including tax or delivery. We fly the Canadian, Ontario and 91˵ flags, thus the reason for three flag poles.” Those wishing to donate to the campaign can do so by making a cheque out to Manitoulin District Cenotaph, P.O. Box 656, Little Current, Ont., P0P IK0 or if someone wished to e-transfer a donation they can do by sending it to [lnbowerman@bell.net](mailto:lnbowerman@bell.net). “We have a charitable number so income tax receipts can be issues if a mailing address is provided,” added Ms. Bowerman.
