Douglas Munroe Armstrong was born in Windsor, Ontario, son of Munroe Isaac Armstrong and Marjorie Bertha Howe and stepfather Clifford Baylis. Devoted husband of Edith “Dianne” Armstrong (nee Giles) (Webb). Beloved father to Brian Armstrong, Linda Montague (Bill), Bill Montague, Kimberly Crosby (Mark), Christine Hanson (Micheal), Robert Armstrong, Cynthia McConnell (Randy), Brenda Thompson (Chris), Jennifer Chandler (Micheal), Gerald Webb (Milly), Tom Webb, Barbara Girard (Chris). Loving grandfather to Brianna, Camille, Joshua (Britt), Jordan, Jesse (Joelle), Jocelyn, Mike, Tyler, Robbie, Jayson, Jon (Blair), Charles (deceased), Cassie, Tara, Crystal, Shauna, Angie (Joe), Jessica (Eric), Gerald (Emma), Savanna, Imagine, Morgan, Amy, Jordan, Chelsea. A blessed great-grandfather to Ella, Aidan, Brooklyn, Chase, Destiny, Joey, Marcus, Jaden, Matthew, Eowyn, Sebastien, Westley, Tyson, Ryker, Nova. Brother to Lorraine Cheney and Delores (deceased). Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Memorial Service was held at 1 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Mindemoya Missionary Church with Pastor Ray Kloestra officiating.
