FRANKE ROFFEL  
AUGUST 29, 1938 – JULY 21, 2019  
Franke Roffel left us unexpectedly July 21st 2019 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Franke was born on August 29th, 1938 in Nieuwlande, Drente, The Netherlands to Willem and Rikste Roffel. Franke was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Roffel, son Chip, parents Willem and Riske Roffel, brother Wiebe and sister Hilly. He is survived by his sons, Franke Jr Roffel (Karen), Ted Roffel, Dale Roffel, his stepchildren Paul Moggy, Darin Moggy (Joanne), Todd Moggy (Denise), Gena Williamson (Steve), his sisters Meta Buitenhuis, and Margaret Grootenboer (Rien), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  
He was a brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and a friend. He will be missed sorely by all who got to meet and know him. We had a gravesite service on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Franke’s final resting place is beside his wife of 34 years, Mary Ellen Roffel at Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada.
