Gary Wayne Charles Walser, a resident of Whitefish Falls, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre on March 31, 2014 at the age of 73\. Born to Pauline (nee Soehner) and Victor A. Walser (both predeceased) in Elora on August 16, 1940\. Spouse of Mary. Beloved friend of Vera. Dear father of Victor (June) of Belwood, Lisa (John Bond) of Whitefish Falls, Richard (Laura) of Fergus. Proud grandpa of Taryn, Kayli, Gary, Jonathan, Danni, Brett, Lauryn, and Grandpa/Bubba to Haileigh, Blake, Marly and Zoey. Special stepfather of Maxine, Timmy, Alicia, Richard Jr. and Victoria and step-grandfather of Stefan, Samarah, Stevie Jr., Saraden, Halle, Gage, Keria. Loved brother of Carol Anne (Bill) Jeffers, Dan (Bridget) Walser, Mary Jane (Bill) Alexander, Blair (Nancy) Walser, Pauline and Paulette Walser, Barbara Walser, Elizabeth Walser. Godfather to Darian Clausen (predeceased). Gary was a sprinkler fitter, working throughout Ontario for over 50 years. Since 1981 he was a tourist outfitter in McGregor Bay. Funeral Service was at St. Bernard’s Church, Little Current on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 1 pm. There will also be a family celebration of his life on August 16, 2014 in Whitefish Falls.
