Police attended the area and commenced an investigation. During this investigation, police learned that a man from the Ottawa area had travelled to Sheshegwaning in connection with alleged criminal activity. Members of the UCCM K9 Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit, Crime Unit and Patrol Services continued the investigation and took one man into custody. As a result, **Rahiem Quincy GEDDES, also known as 鈥淨,鈥** 30, of the Ottawa District, was arrested and charged with the following offences: - Criminal Harassment 鈥 CC264 (2) - Uttering threats 鈥 Cause death or bodily harm 鈥 CC264.1(1)(a) - Assault with a weapon 鈥 CC267(a) - Traffic in persons 鈥 CC279.01 - Theft under $5000 鈥 CC334 (b) - Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose 鈥 CC88 - Traffick in Schedule I Substance 鈥 CDSA 5 (1) - 2X Failure to comply with release order 鈥 CC145 (5)(a) The accused party remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on the 11th day of September 2026\.
