JOHN (JACK) GIBBS  
John (Jack) Gibbs, of Gore Bay, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday September 30, 2019, in his 88th year. Beloved father of Ken and dear grandpa of Krysten (Darren), John and Loren (Ryan). Jack will be greatly missed by his brother Mike (Jean) Gibbs, his sister Jane (Manfred) Ritzheim and his great-grandchildren Carson, Mason and Alyssa, nieces Patti (Brad), Sherri (Jay) and nephews Brian (Kim), Stephan and their families. Predeceased by his wife Eldean, parents Lyman and Ardath (Best) Gibbs, brother Roger and daughter-in-law Sandra Ostertag. Visitation was held at the Simpson Funeral Home, Gore Bay, on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 7 pm to 9 pm, where the funeral service was held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11 am. Interment, Gordon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy and may be made through www.simpsonfuneralhome.ca.
