Cherished son of Les (predeceased) and Darlene Orford (nee Runnalls). Beloved father of Brandon and Andrew (Danielle). He will be missed by his granddaughter Adrienne. Youngest brother of Jimmy (Elenore) (both predeceased), Kenny (Kim), Billy (Jennifer) and Ronnie (Lisa). Larry was known for his love of woodworking; he could make you anything you could ever want, from tables, mail boxes and wishing wells. He enjoyed fishing, hunting deer and partridge. Often he would have competitions with his friend John to see who could shoot the most partridge and be named the champion of hunting them. While Larry liked to hunt partridge, he also enjoyed watching birds. Darlene and Larry would sit together on her porch and watch them together. He had the amazing ability to name any bird that came his way. Larry would coach hockey and he enjoyed playing baseball; he was quite the pitcher. One thing Larry was known for was his quick math skills; who needed a calculator when you had him by your side? While Larry could be a picky eater there was always one type of food he would look forward to and would do anything to get his hands on and that was his mom’s potato soup. He loved his cabin and one thing he would always look forward to was his scheduled 2:00 happy hour with his friends. Larry was well loved and will be missed by lots of friends and family. A graveside service took place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11 am at Burpee-Mills Cemetery. A lunch followed after the burial at the Burpee-Mills community hall.
