1939 – 2011  
In loving memory of Marilyn Doreen Stere who died at the Sudbury Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the age of 72\. Survived by her beloved husband Clayton. Loving mother of David (wife Gail) of Alberta, Carol MacDonald (predeceased) (husband Stuart of Aylmer), Sandra Worobec (husband Rick) of Alberta, Terry (wife Lisa) of Woodstock, and Lori McMillan (husband Douglas) of Bright. Cherished Gramma of five grandsons and six granddaughters Zoe, Catriona (husband Ryan Rusich), Meghan, Craig, Garth, Tanya, Terry, Troy, Jennifer, Allyson and Iain. Proud great-gramma of six, predeceased by great-granddaughter Mataya. Predeceased by her sister Norma Charlton and brother Larry Charlton. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Marilyn loved the church, she was an active volunteer in the community, she loved children, becoming “Grandma Stere” to many, and was known for her giving heart. She will be missed. Visitation was from 1 pm – 4 pm with the Funeral Service at 4 pm on Sunday, July 3, 2011, all at Island Funeral Home. Cremation. Donations to the World Accord or to MHC Auxiliary. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
