Melvin (Mel) Muir McKenzie passed away peacefully at Fairview Mennonite Nursing Home, Cambridge, Ontario, on Friday, January 30, 2015 in his 90th year with a relative and friends attending to him. Mel was born Little Current, Manitoulin Island on September 26, 1924\. One of five children born to Leslie Albert and Zaida May (nee Hilson) McKenzie. Mel leaves to mourn his passing his wife Betty, sons Leslie and Blaine, sister Nena, several grandchildren and many McKenzie and extended family members on Manitoulin Island. Interned with his first wife Frances, February 6, 2015, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton, Ontario.
