September 10, 1960 – January 25, 2014

In loving memory of Michael “Papa” Eugene Manitowabi who began his spirit journey on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the age of 54\. Survived by his common-law partner Diane Flamand; children Michael Jr., Matthew, Jessica (Sault Ste. Marie) and Angel (Wikwemikong); special friends John Flamand (Kim), Sarah Flamand (Mark), Marshall Flamand (Brandi), Kathleen Flamand. Siblings Catherine and sister (Sault Ste. Marie). Predeceased by his parents Eugene I. Manitowabi and his mother (Sault Ste. Marie). Mike liked listening to music and playing cards. His dog “Buddy” recently passed and Mike missed him very much. Mike loved spending time with friends and family. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Visitation from 11 am Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Buzwah until the Funeral Mass at 11 am on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah. Burial Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
