June 23, 1930 – June 28, 2017  
Patsy Maxine Leeson died peacefully at St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake at the age of 87\. Beloved and devoted wife of Milfred McCulligh (predeceased 1987) and Calvin Leeson (predeceased 2017). Cherished mother of Allan McCulligh, Lois Ann Lanktree (husband John), Linda Waugh (husband Randy), and Steven McCulligh. Loving grandmother of Cody, Lisa and Lori Lanktree, Michael and Jeffrey Stub, Phillip and Craig Waugh. Great-grandmother of Kami, Ceara, Nina, Skylar, Asher, Sophie, Naomi and Lola. Caring sister of Joan Arnold Sawyer, Dodds McCauley (wife Jovette), and David McCauley (wife Barbara). Predeceased by parents James “Dodds” and Vilda McCauley, sister Shirley VanEvery, and brothers Colin, Blaine and Brock McCauley. Sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Born in Duncan, BC, Pat was an incredible baker who enjoyed reading, sharing laughs with her sisters and family gatherings. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she touched many lives with her love, smile and laughter. She was a strong and compassionate person who will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home on Monday, July 3, 2017\. Visitation was from 10:30 am, followed by funeral service at 12 pm. Burial was at Hilly Grove Cemetery, followed by luncheon at the Tehkummah Triangle Club. Donations to Elliot Lake Hospital Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated.
