GORE BAY—Work on the new long term care nursing home in Gore Bay has reached another major stage.

“Exciting things are happening at the site of Gore Bay’s new long-term care home. Construction has reached another major milestone, with the building foundations now complete and the project continuing to move forward,” the town of Gore Bay posted July 21 on its Facebook page. 

“This new facility will provide a modern, comfortable home for seniors while strengthening healthcare services for our community for years to come,” the Gore Bay Facebook post notes.
