Raymond Assance-Armstrong passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the age of 74\. Survived by children Linda Recollet (Peter Mandiman) and Jessica Armstrong (Bernard Burt), step-children Cheryl, Audrey and Francis Migwans, grandchildren Charlene, Jeanine, Kyle, Nathan, Matthew, Ryan, Ashley, Tiffany, Louisa, Jeremy, Melanie, Claudette, Celeste and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by wife Mary Dolores (March 10, 1997), parents Narriss and Josephine (Corbiere) Armstrong, son Raymond Narcisuss Armstrong, sisters Beatrice, Madeline, Evelina, Veronica, Jessie and brother Solomon. Visitation was from 4 pm on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Saashwans Spiritual Centre until the funeral service at 11 am Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Church, M’Chigeeng, Ontario. Burial at M’Chigeeng Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
