STANLEY PETER PANAMICK  
September 12, 1961 – September 11, 2019   
In Loving Memory of Stanley Peter Panamick, September 12, 1961 to September 11, 2019\. He is survived by his siblings Roy (wife Leona), Marjorie (friend Gerald), Patsy (friend Andy), Lydia (friend Joey) and Bill (friend Bee). Predeceased by parents Onesime Panamick- Madahbee and Theresa Panamick (nee Fineday), siblings Martin, Alice, Justin, Clement and Peter. Dearest dad of Mark and Angela. Uncle to Taylor, Allison, Janet, Thunder, Martin, Wassenode, Olivia, Peter, Carson and Shayne. Stan’s Aniishnaabe name was Wandering Spirit, and he was also known by most as Stan the Man. He was known for his artistic and creative abilities which he expressed in Woodlands Style. His art work is well-known world-wide. Stan had a great sense of humour. He was an avid horse shoe player, loved Scrabble, playing dice, country music, pool and could tell stories in a way that would make you laugh (whether they were true or not). Family and friends gathered at the M’Chigeeng Complex for the visitation on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 2 pm and Friday, September 13, 2019\. Funeral Service took place on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 3 pm. Cremation. Feast was at the M’Chigeeng Complex. Please share your thoughts memories and photos at www.islandfuneralhome.ca.
