# WILLIAM “JIM” MARSHALL

May 24, 1928 – May 9, 2012

William James (Jim) Marshall was born in Spring Bay, Ontario on May 24 1928, and passed away May 9, 2012 after a valiant struggle with cancer. Survived by his children: Glenna (Larry) Roth, Kathleen Marshall, and Douglas (Shanna) Marshall all of Calgary, Alberta and son Murray (Dianne) Marshall of Montreal, Quebec. Jim will also be missed by his six grandchildren: Michael, Tyler, Jordon, Noah, Jack and Lauren and would have finally become a great-grandfather later this year. Jim was predeceased by his parents Norman and Pearl Marshall and sister Mary (Mayme) Dobbs. A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, 200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks, AB. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to honour Jim’s memory and his great love of animals by making a donation to the Okotoks Branch of the S.P.C.A.
