Manitoulin.com is the premiere space for advertising to the Manitoulin Island and North Shore region (both locals and visitors). More than half of our ~34k unique monthly visitors come to Manitoulin.com directly, by either typing our URL into their browser's address bar or because they have us bookmarked. This means our audience is very intentionally Manitoulin focused.
Manitoulin.com uses direct-sold ads, as opposed to programmatic ads (e.g. "Google Ads"). This means our ads are immune to ad-blockers, our advertisers' brand integrity will not be associated alongside low-quality clickbait ads, our pages load faster, and there are no third-party trackers dropping cookies into our readers' browsers.
All ad spaces are for one week. Our ad spaces altogether include the Homepage Banner, the header, mid-story, and footer spaces for our top stories (i.e. front-page stories), regular stories and Friday Roundup Newsletter. Weekly we publish roughly 5 top stories and roughly 20 regular stories; the number of unique views between 5 top stories altogether, and 20 regular stories altogether, tends to be roughly equivalent.
