Acadia Parent, right, has been on the epic paddling adventure of a lifetime with her father, Scott. The two are using a custom-outfitted stand-up paddleboard to make the 475-kilometre trek and Acadia is collecting water samples along the way to study the presence of microplastics in Lake Huron.
