The Sandy Lawrence rink display the Doris ‘Toots’ Strain memorial trophy for having won the first event championship at the annual Gore Bay curling club ladies bonspiel, held this past weekend. Members of the team included left Heather Strain, Theresa Carlisle, Gaynor Orford, and Sandie Merrylees.
