Manitoulin Family Resources seeks donations for upwards of 900 Christmas hampers this year

The Little Current Open Mic was held every Friday pickin’ and singin’ to raise money for the Manitoulin Family Resource’s food bank. A big thank you went out from the organizers to all the musicians for taking part and to all that contributed to the bank. This year the musicians raised just over $1,100 and the cheque was presented by open mic organizers George and Lynda Williamson to Judy Duncan of the thrift shop in Mindemoya. The musicians are looking forward to next summer.
