Gerald “Gerry” Boisvert, age 69, passed away suddenly on August 1, 2026, at his home in Sudbury. He was born on June 14, 1957, in Espanola. Son of the late Leo Boisvert and Leona Boisvert.  Fondly remembered as “The Candyman,” Gerry loved visiting with family. He had a keen interest in researching and keeping Boisvert family history and collected sentimental family keepsakes among his many extensive collections.  Gerry was fascinated by storytelling. He enjoyed reading a good book curled up next to his cats, decorating his home with cherished antiques and repurposing what he deemed treasures. Gerry is predeceased by his loving parents and brother Roger. He is survived by his siblings, Denise (Dennis), Robert, Monique (Steve), Helene (Dave), Suzanne (Cliff) and Lisette (Blair), and will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and by his dearest friend Clo. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
