The irrepressible retired nurse and midwife Mary Buie gets witchy with it while waiting in the cancer centre at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. She will soon be taking part in trials of an experimental drug to combat the particularly aggressive form of breast cancer that has reappeared after a 12-year remission.
