Mark Zelinski launches his new book, Niagara Escarpment, with events on the Chi-Cheemaun and Manitoulin Island May 15–17, featuring photography and Indigenous ceremonies.
MANITOULIN—Author and photographer Mark Zelinski has spent a lifetime capturing amazing images of nature and landmarks and his new book ‘Niagara Escarpment: LAND BETWEEN WATERS.’ Among the images are many from Manitoulin Island and its environs and Mr. Zelinski will be hosted by both the MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry and the Manitoulin Nature Club.
Photographer/publisher Mark Zelinski is a multidisciplinary artist whose career spans five decades and over 80 countries who is widely recognized for his ‘Books That Heal’ initiative, a project through which he has donated 9,000 photography books to 140 charities across the globe.
‘Niagara Escarpment: LAND BETWEEN WATERS’ is his tenth book, and provides “a visually stunning tribute featuring more than 600 landscape, wildlife and cultural photographs of the Niagara Escarpment, one of the world’s unique natural wonders defining an area across Southern Ontario and Manitoulin Island.”
