Brothers, former chiefs, vie to lead M’Chigeeng 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½
M’CHIGEENG—There are seven candidates in the running for the position of chief of the M’Chigeeng 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, along with 63 candidates for council in the upcoming band council and chief election.
The list of nominees was confirmed at a nomination meeting held in the community on April 4.
Those nominated for the position of chief in Morgan Hare, Glen Theodore Hare Sr., Andrew Debassige, Neil Debassige, Jerome Peter Debassige, Forrest (Fory) Hare and Michael White.
