Evening of music celebrates Island musician Art Hayden induction — Local musician Art Hayden will be inducted into the Great Northern Opry through the Northern Ontario Country Music Association, this fall.

EVANSVILLE—The Burpee and Mills hall was packed for a concert held this past Saturday evening in honour of local musician Art Hayden, who will be inducted into the Great Northern Opry through the Northern Ontario Country Music Association (NOCMA) this fall.

“I enjoy music, and I play music because I love it,” Mr. Hayden said at the concert. “Tonight is very special to me, and I want to thank all these wonderful musicians who are here with me tonight, and for everyone in attendance here tonight.”
