Gore Bay council appointed deputy clerk Pam Fogal as the permanent town clerk and interim town manager for up to 90 days. This follows the departure of Jason Quinlan by mutual agreement.
GORE BAY鈥擳he Town of Gore Bay council has appointed a new clerk for the town.
At a special council meeting held June 15, 鈥淐ouncil appointed Pam Fogal, who was the deputy clerk, to continue as the town clerk on a permanent basis, and as Mayor I appointed her as town manager for a period of 90 days or less, subject to a review at that time.鈥
Mayor Lane explained that earlier this month, 鈥渂y mutual agreement, Jason Quinlan (who had been hired by the town just over a year ago as town manager) is no longer employed by the town as town manager.鈥
