Glen Hare named chief of M鈥機higeeng
Glen Hare has been elected chief of M'Chigeeng 91成人导航 after 21 years. Leading a new 10-member council for a three-year term, his immediate priorities are improving communication and reviving community committees.

M鈥機HIGEENG鈥擨t has been 21 years since Glen Hare last served as chief of the M鈥機higeeng 91成人导航. After winning the election this past Saturday, he said he is looking forward to serving his community along with the newly elected council.
鈥淚鈥檓 back as chief after 21 years and I鈥檓 excited to be able to serve the community again, with this new council. We have a good group of people on council, and we have received a strong mandate from the residents,鈥 stated Chief Hare after the band chief and council elections held this past Saturday. The new band council will serve a three-year term.
In the race for M鈥機higeeng chief, Glen Hare received a total of 453 votes with Forrest (Forry) Hare receiving a total of 254 votes.
