GORE BAY鈥擣ormer Gore Bay town councillor Terry Olmstead says having to resign from council is bittersweet.
鈥淚 hate to go, I love Gore Bay and the Island, and it has been a real pleasure for my wife Roseanne and our family to live in Gore Bay all these years,鈥 said Mr. Olmstead, who officially announced his resignation from council at a meeting last week.
鈥淚 have enjoyed my four years on council,鈥 said Mr. Olmstead. 鈥淲e have good people on council and we have accomplished quite a few things over the years.鈥
