Lieutenant (N) Maggie King-Roi, right, relinquished the sword that is symbolic of her authority as officer in command to Mr. Turcotte, who in turn passed it on to Naval Cadet Officer Sylvain Boucher, right, finalizing the process of succession. Ms. King-Roi has been an officer with the corps for 10 years and cmmanding officer for the past six. Mr. Boucher has 17 years experience as an officer with cadet corps the last two with 348 Manitoulin.
