The Mindemoya hospital site has fully reopened after a community flood-related infrastructure failure forced a "Code Grey" closure. Following a phased approach, the emergency department and all services are now operational. This follows a difficult spring, including a previous sprinkler malfunction.

A 鈥淐ode Grey鈥 in hospitals and health facilities typically signifies a critical infrastructure failure or loss of essential services. It is activated when systems like water, power, HVAC, or IT networks fail, hindering patient care.
鈥淲e鈥檙e pleased to share that the Mindemoya Emergency Department will reopen Wednesday, April 22 at 8 pm following the recent Code Grey,鈥 announced the hospital. Noting that 鈥渟ervices will resume in a phased approach.
