Popular Island paramedic loses his battle to cancer

Paramedics and staff with the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board, along with members of the Gore Bay Volunteer Fire Department and members of the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, took part in an honour guard salute at a funeral held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Gore Bay on December 14 for popular Manitoulin paramedic Paul Zilio.
