It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roman Mann, on the morning of September 3, 2026 at 66 years of age. Roman passed too soon in a tragic fire on the beloved family property that he adored, on Manitoulin Island. Roman鈥檚 life was filled with endless storytelling, unyielding passion, adoration for nature, disarming humour and a renaissance level of woodworking skills and knowledge.He will be held in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters Shawna Mann and Natasha 鈥淎yana鈥 Mann and their families. He is also survived by his siblings John (Maria), Mary (Jim), Leah (Gary), Tom (Angel), and Martin (AJ), as well as all of their children. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Roman Mann and his youngest brother, William (Bill) Mann. Roman鈥檚 ashes will be interred in the family plot at 3 pm on October 17th at the Kagawong Cedars Cemetery on Manitoulin Island.
