War Pensioners of Canada honour local journalists

From left, retired Sudbury Regional Police Officer David Healey and War Pensioners of Canada members Jim Corrigan, Sudbury branch President Colin Pick, Dave Duncan of Massey, Paul Abbott of Little Current, Brian Sprack of Manitowaning, Gary Trimmer of Little Current, Fred Nesbitt of Honora Bay and Wayne Golden of Massey stand behind honourees Michael Erskine of The Expositor and Tom Sasvari of The Manitoulin West Recorder. The two journalists were honoured with a WPC 100th Anniversary medal for their service in bringing veterans’ issues to public attention.
