Antler Bend subdivision back on track
Gordon/Barrie Island council granted a one-year extension for the 35-lot Antler Bend subdivision, fully supporting the development as it prepares to move forward.

BARRIE ISLAND鈥擨t appears the 鈥楢ntler Bend鈥 subdivision will now get back on track to development.
鈥淲e are 100 percent behind the development of the subdivision, and the hope is that it will now proceed again,鈥 stated Lee Hayden, reeve of Gordon/Barrie Island after a recent council meeting.
鈥淎t our council meeting we had received a request from the proponents of the Barrie Island (Antler Bend) subdivision for an extension to the current agreement,鈥 said Reeve Hayden. 鈥淭hey had requested a six-month extension, but council decided to give them a year.鈥
