It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Blair Lewis Gilpin on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, with his loving family by his side in Mindemoya, at the age of 71. Blair was a devoted husband to Sheryl Anne Gilpin (n茅e Sagle), with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership and cherished memories. Father to Amanda, Dennis and Jerry, and a beloved grandfather to Riley, Allison, Aryanna, Seth, Jessie and Jamie, who brought him great joy and pride. He was the son of the late Lewis and Rita Gilpin (n茅e Leroux), and a dear brother to Margaret (Royce), Gary (Barb) and Patty (Conrad). Blair was predeceased by his siblings Wayne, June and Irene (Bill). He will also be missed dearly by his extended family Andrew and Janet, Royce (Helen), Brad (Lynn) and Yvonne (Ian). Blair will be fondly remembered for his warmth, kindness and the strong connections he maintained with his many friends and extended family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A life well lived, and a man well loved, Blair leaves behind a legacy of family, friendship and enduring memories. Visitation will be on May 23, 2026 at 10 am, followed by funeral service at 11 am at Spring Bay Pentecostal Church. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
