The Manitoulin Fine Arts Association hosted the 70th Annual NOAA Juried Exhibition at the NEMI Recreation Centre in Little Current, featuring Northern Ontario artworks, award presentations, and a presidential transition to Cheryl Mazak.

LITTLE CURRENT—The finest examples of Northern Ontario artworks were on display for two days over the weekend as the Manitoulin Fine Arts Association (MFAA) hosts the Northern Ontario Art Association (NOAA) 70th Annual Juried Exhibition at the NEMI Recreation Centre.

Many of the pieces on display were also up for sale and at least two were sold leading up to the awards ceremony.

MFAA president Judy Boyd delivered opening remarks and offered special thanks “to our team members and volunteers, it takes a village! I would like to extend a special welcome to our guests who traveled from out of town, the artists and representatives from clubs coming from all over Northern Ontario. Here with us are distinguished guests. Please welcome Mayor Al MacNevin, who is our mayor for NEMI.”
