Jacinthe (nee Lapierre) Dakin
July 13, 1951 - May 29, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the age of 74 years. Daughter of the late Armand Lapierre and late Desneiges Rochon. Loving wife of 55 years to Maurice Dakin. Loving mother of Charles Dakin (Stephanie), Denis Dakin (Julie) and Marc Dakin (Nathalie). Cherished grandmother of Isabelle, Caleb, Justin, Dylan, Tristan, Arianna. Dear sister of Yolande, Solange, Murielle, late Annette, late Joseph, L茅onie, Bernadette, late Marie-Anne, Carmelle, Johanne, Ga茅tan, H茅l猫ne and late Normand. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness and support they provided during a difficult time. We are also deeply thankful to Dr. Nykilchyk, Dr. Pitre, Dr. Falk and Dr. Walton for their outstanding medical care, compassion, and guidance. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11 am at St-Jude Church, 247 Mead Blvd, Espanola, ON. A reception will follow immediately after the Mass at the Espanola Elk鈥檚 Club, 539 2nd Ave, Espanola, ON.
