In loving memory of Lawrence Harry Jacko-Tahgaiwenene, Sunrise June 23, 1948 – Sunset February 10, 2026. Lawrence passed away peacefully at Wikwemikong Nursing home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the age of 77. Beloved son of David Jacko and Victoria (Wagosh/Fox) (predeceased). Dear brother of Arthur Jacko (predeceased), Ursula Madahbee, Helen Petahtegoose (Bernie predeceased), Rita Osawabine (Frank predeceased), Henry Jacko (predeceased), Gloria Pitawanakwat (Gilbert), Rose Anderson (Gary), Vernon Jacko (predeceased), Betty Corbiere (Frank) and Cecil Jacko (predeceased). Special brother to Lennox. Father of Connie Pelletier (Darren) (three children), Tanya Trudeau (eight children, two grandchildren), Rochelle Jacko (six children, one predeceased, two grandchildren) and Kendall Jacko (three children, one predeceased). Lawrence was a workaholic. He loved his job and took great pride in it. He loved to impersonate Elvis Presley, often dancing along to the music. Lawrence was quite the charmer, often charming women with his deadly side burns. Above all he enjoyed being with his family, especially at reunions and powwows. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home Saturday, February 14, 2026. Visitation was from 11:30 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
