Little Current Public School students Ada Nicholls and Lauren Musquetier placed second in a provincial workplace safety competition. The duo excelled in hazard identification and tool safety tasks.
LITTLE CURRENT鈥擜 Little Current Public School (LCPS) two-person team finished second from among the best teams in the province in the intermediate (Grade 7/8) workplace safety skills competition.
鈥淲e finished second in the provincials. I knew our team鈥檚 capabilities, but to see it happen was amazing,鈥 stated LCPS Grade 6 teacher Mary-Anne McGraw, who was coach of the LCPS team which included Grade 8 students Ada Nicholls and Lauren Musquetier, held at the Toronto Congress Centre the first weekend in May.
鈥淟auren and I have put a lot of effort into preparing for this competition. I am glad that our hard work paid off,鈥 stated Ada. 鈥淓veryone from the organizers to the participants was very welcoming and kind.鈥
