Emergency services are responding to a structure fire on Hawk Road in Billings Township reported this morning, September 3, 2026, and the OPP is asking the public to stay clear of the area while the investigation is underway.
BILLINGS TOWNSHIP, ON - The Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising the public of increased emergency services presence on Hawk Road in the Billings Township.
On Thursday, September 3, 2026, at approximately 7:15 a.m., the Manitoulin OPP received a report of a structure fire on Hawk Road in the Billings Township, and responded with assistance from the local fire department and Emergency Medical Services.
As police, fire and emergency personnel continue to investigate this incident, members of the public and media are requested to remain clear of the area and refrain from entering private property. This will help ensure the safety of emergency responders, the safety of the public and preserve the integrity of the investigation.
