BRANTFORD鈥擬arian Jacko, originally from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory was bestowed an honorary degree from York University last Friday.
鈥淚t is a profound honour to receive the honorary Doctorate of Laws (LLD) degree from York University,鈥 Ms. Jacko told the Expositor. 鈥淚 accept it with gratitude and humility, mindful of the responsibilities that come with such recognition.鈥
