The 69th annual NOAA juried exhibition is at the Sheguiandah Museum for June. Local artist Lisa Robins won Best in Show for "Bickell鈥檚 Creek," alongside works by Penny Bois, Heather Galea, and Richard Edwards.
SHEGUIANDAH鈥擳he 69th annual Northern Ontario Art Association juried exhibition travels across the North with an exhibit and sale of some of the finest original artworks created here in the North, including four artists hailing from our own Manitoulin Fine Arts Association鈥攊ncluding Heather Galea (鈥楤y the Rapids鈥), Penny Bois (鈥楶rincess鈥) and Richard Edwards (鈥楨vening Light鈥) and the Best in Show Award winner Lisa Robins (鈥楤ickell鈥檚 Creek鈥).
Northeast Town Mayor Al MacNevin welcomed attendees to the event and went on to note that next year鈥檚 show will begin here on Manitoulin, hosted by Manitoulin Fine Arts.
