A 72-year-old Thunder Bay motorcyclist died following a collision with a vehicle towing a trailer on Highway 6 near Little Current. The OPP are investigating and requesting witness or dashcam information.
NORTHEAST TOWN—A 72-year-old motorcyclist from Thunder Bay was killed following a collision with a vehicle towing a trailer on June 17 just outside Little Current on Highway 6 near White’s Point Road.
The two-vehicle collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle pulling a trailer resulted in the motorcyclist being transported to the hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. An OPP release noted at the time Highway 6 between Green Bush Road and Morphet’s Side Road was expected to remain closed for several hours as the investigation continues with assistance from the OPP technical collision investigators and reconstructionist.
