Providence Bay
Alexia Hannigan

Alexia here with your August fly-by! Here we are in the first week of August and it鈥檚 almost Providence Bay Fair time again! How in the hay bales did that happen so fast? This is a busy time for local folks: fairgoers, participants and the Agricultural Society alike. Everyone is adding those finishing touches, planning their work and preparing for rosettes and ribbons. Paraders are finishing their floats, classic car and vintage tractor owners are buffing their beauties, bands are rehearsing, farmers are herding their livestock and counting their goats. Lots to do and darn before all the carnival lights and musical nights are here! Happy countdown to fair and last sweltering weeks of summer! These are the days of opening the good wine and smelling the roses鈥攇o get it!

Here鈥檚 What鈥檚 happening:
