Alexia here with your Friendly Horse fly! I can understand the back- to-school ads but isn鈥檛 it a little early for the Halloween and Christmas baking and crafting reels? I鈥檓 always game for the fun and frivolity of Summerween mind you- and my mind and heart shift a lot during the transition from the end of Summer to the beginning of Fall. I suppose whatever distractions and coping skills we need to get us through the melancholy and chaos of the Seasonal switch is fair game. Back to the back-to-school blitz then- everyone and their cousin is already planning their calendars, colours, clothes, and fall hauls for September; we are just days away from another epic Providence Bay Fair and weeks away from the return of Harvest Days and Pumpkin Spice Lattes. You know what that means! We must drink up and delight in these last few beautiful and bountiful weeks of Summer as the 鈥渇un in the Sun鈥 days go faster than an Osprey鈥檚 rushing dive on a Rock Bass.
