NIVO, a PomeGran subsidiary, is currently expanding internet, TV, and phone services across Manitoulin. Installations are underway in Gore Bay, with more areas, including Little Current, to follow.
MANITOULIN鈥擭IVO, the PomeGran subsidiary that is acting as an internet service provider to the Island is currently knocking on doors to sign people up to the service. Over 451 Islanders have already signed up and more are being added each day. Currently, the service is being installed in Gore Bay, with other Manitoulin communities to follow shortly.
鈥淲e are going to be in and around the area for the foreseeable future,鈥 said spokesperson Joshua Petersson. 鈥淢ost of it鈥檚 going to be lit up before the end of August.鈥
