In loving memory of Gail Leeson (nee Jewell), June 8, 1942 - July 16, 2026. Gail passed away with her family around her on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the age of 84 years. Gail is remembered by her beloved husband of 66 years, Weston; and her sons Trevor (Trish), Shane (Melanie) and Darrel (predeceased) (Evelyn). She leaves behind her grandchildren, Cody (Kendra), Courtney (Mike), Denver (Aidan) and Aaron; her great-grandchildren  Aubrey and Jax. She was the beloved sister of Maisie (Ken),  Isobel (Walter),  Marguerite (predeceased), Gordie (predeceased) and Bruce (predeceased) (Dianne). Gail was beloved by her family and cherished by her friends. She enjoyed teaching her grand and great -grandchildren how to bake bread. She was a cornerstone of the Community of Christ Church in Providence Bay where Wes was the Pastor for many years. She volunteered there as often as she could. She also loved playing cards with friends. She loved her gardens, especially her roses, and making happy memories with her family. She was well known and cherished in the communities she loved. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family gathered to share stories, a laugh and a smile during her visitation at the Island Funeral Home in Little Current on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 6 to 9 pm.
