GORE BAY鈥擱epresentatives of J.L. Richards Engineers, Architects, Planners have provided two design options for Gore Bay council consideration in a planning study for the town for the former Woods Lane Apartment building property. The principles and development options include both commercial and residential development, with a mixed-use commercial residential on Meredith Street and residential development on Water Street, in two separate buildings. 

Sarah Vereault, senior planner with J.L. Richards said, 鈥渢his is our presentation for design and development options for 66 Meredith Street. It is the type of development that fits in with the town character.鈥 

鈥淭he town鈥檚 revitalization and growth-focused initiatives include the new community improvement plan, with a goal to double the population in town in the next 20 years through marketing campaigns, investment in infrastructure, and downtown revitalization projects,鈥 said Ms. Vereault.
