LITTLE CURRENT鈥擬anitoulin Centennial Manor is currently full, with a 99.25 percent occupancy rate and that status is likely to continue for the conceivable future, as there are at least 72 people on the Manor鈥檚 waiting list for the 60 beds.

The Manor board had plenty of good news during its April meeting, with the only non-compliance issue having been found to have been resolved during a visit by a Ministry of Long Term Care inspector on April 10.

There was a minor issue with the floor in the walk-in freezer. Manor Administrator Don Cook explained the Public Health inspector was concerned that it could not be cleaned effectively. The Manor researched and installed a floor covering that met the inspector鈥檚 requirements.
