Brenden Force named to U19 Team Ontario for lacrosse — Manitoulin Secondary’s own Brenden Force will be representing the province in lacrosse in September.

MANITOULIN—Manitoulin’s 16-year-old lacrosse player Brenden Force has been selected to the U19 Team Ontario Field Lacrosse Team that will be taking part in the National championship in Langley, British Columbia in September.

“Yes, I am very excited at the opportunity to perform in front of coaches, as well as having the opportunity to represent Team Ontario, play in the 91��˵��s Cup and travel to Langley, B.C.” Brenden told The Expositor.

“Last year Brenden (Force) was a member of the Brantford Warriors Box Lacrosse U16 team that won the provincial championship,” said Michael Force of his son. Team Ontario then selected Brenden recently to take part in the U19 Team Ontario Field Lacrosse Team that will be taking place in the National Championship in Langley, British Columbia this September. “Brenden is very excited to be representing the province at the National Championship. It is a very big accomplishment.”
